Can you explain what criteria voters should be considering? Is it how well the icons fit the prompts or just overall preference?

A little mix of both. How well they fit the prompt or how interesting the interpretation is/preference/quality of the icon.

Thanks! That helped, though I was pretty sure I knew which I would vote for anyway.

And I did pretty well, except the part where I (once) forgot about how the numbers are on top of the icons and kind of voted for the wrong one.

In the words of Mal and Zoe's dead-not-dead Browncoat friend, "I'm feeling kinda stupid right about now." (I accidentally voted for #14 in the Hush poll... instead of #08.)

Since this is the first go round and all, you're still seeing what works. Maybe consider putting a friendly little reminder right near the submit click-y button? "Make sure you're not being stupid like curi_o was. Double check your numbers." In the future, of course. I don't mind serving as a warning to others. It's kind of my role in life. A documentary of my life would be called What Not To Do: Life as One of Those Achtung! Advertissement! Caution! signs.

There will definitely be more direction on the AC/Category sets later, so hopefully that will help out more. Round Two will definitely be a lot smoother on my end too. I can do a lot of things ahead of time that I didn't think about before which leaves me a bit covered up now with getting the voting together, but it is a small price to pay for something that's been so fun. :D Of course, if I didn't have errands to run today it would be up a lot sooner. haha.

Yep! If you look through the community you will find all of the icons at their entries. :D You can snag them even before voting starts. You can use the tags to find specific shows. They really are. I know I have been snagging as we go and can't wait until next round to see what everyone comes up with. haha. It is like my own personal icon factory. (jk...kinda)
