Hopefully everyone had fun in port.

Now that everyone's had a day to calm down and think things through, we've got to deal with that little mutiny situation. If the three of you have anything to say for yourselves, go ahead and speak up.

It's a mutiny against the Admiral, why doesn't everyone calm down, do their jobs and let him deal with it. He hasn't done anything yet and I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he could do whatever he damned well wants around here.

Duly noted.

There's two reasons why we have to deal with this. One, we need to set an example for the inmates. That's not a great reason but it's a reason nonetheless. Unless there's widespread reform about how things are dealt with around here, we have to make sure that wardens are punished for their actions so it doesn't give the impression we're playing favorites.

And two... is complicated, but what it boils down to is that the Admiral wants to play god, and I'm... well, I've seen how that goes. So I say we run our own day-to-day lives, including the punishment if one, or three, of us steps out of line.

Plus, I've never seen the man dole out a punishment on an individual level, except maybe once to an inmate or two.

While I really do appreciate your input? I'm going to say that no, we're not ignoring this and letting the Admiral deal with it.

I can tell you this, there's nearly nothing you could do to Jim Kirk to make him sorry for what he did. What I'm concerned about here is this mob mentality going too far. Throw him in the brig if you want to be symbolic but you know as well as I do it won't do a damned thing besides setting your example.

I promise you, I'm going to do anything and everything in my power to make sure that there will be absolutely no mob mentality. Right now I'm just looking for people's opinions on how to handle the subject, and I'm going to quash any potential brush fires that I'm able. The security team as a whole will review everyone's suggestions and then probably put the general consensus in front of everyone before acting on it, so no one person will be running anything and calmer heads should prevail ( ... )

They took over the Barge. Do you know how frightening a concept that is, after Harold, and the Daleks...and the inmate riot, and everything that happened?

A stint in 0 is what I suggest, if you don't have anything better in mind.

I'd prefer something more creative, but thanks for the input. A wekk in zero will suffice if we can't come up with anything better.

If you come up with something better, do tell. I couldn't think of anything else.

Uhhh... speaking for everyone cause that's what he's been doing the whole time anyway captain_jtkirk August 11 2009, 05:21:03 UTC
I just want to remind people that no one got hurt as a result of our actions, there was no abuse of power, we didn't crash, and we had no way of predicting the volcano.

Oh and we handed control back over.

I think that's it.

Did anybody take notes on what they feared when that crazy 'under the bed' fear flood rolled around? A few minutes locked in a room with whatever they're afraid of will set a pretty strong example.

I'm sure it's in their old journal entries.

That'll be taken into consideration. Thanks for the suggestion.
