You pay $12 for movie tickets where you live? wow, kinda expensive, i've never paid that much to go to the movies in my life.

It is very expensive to go to the movies here unless you go a matinee on a Wednesday or something.

What do you usually pay?

I usually go to the AMC nearby and I went to their website and checked ticket prices at various times throughout the week. Seems like the most expensive I could find was $10 at prime times on the weekend. I avoid the movies like that plague during the weekend anyway, I usually go during the weekdays when tickets are $5-$6.

man, roland emmerich absolutely loves depicting the spectacular destruction of major cities/landmarks. i mean, damn, how many times can you keep going to that well? *yawn*
