I wonder how the guys are doing. I wonder how the big game went... Or how many big games I've missed. [weak laugh]

I wish I could talk to my parents. Just let them know I'm okay, you know? I almost forget what their voices sound like. Kinda weird, right? Guess I'm just in a sentimental mood or something.

I know, I can't help but thinking-- just knowing all of the things that we're missing, but at least we're here together.

I guess it helped that my heart didn't know that it was in high school, huh?

At least we're together and that's all I can be thankful for.
