Here. At least you shouldn't bleed out all over them. [It's not quite an act of mercy, so much as Rex trying to cover his tracks a little. He doesn't want anybody to see the vampire's wound and ask questions.]

[Sometimes, Rex thinks that would be the best thing. But there's a compulsion inside of him, infecting him, that wants to keep Armand close. The vampire's gotten under his skin, and it feels so right, but he knows it isn't. He needs to get away.]
