How are the winters here?

[ It's been turning in his head a little bit for a few days now. Hijikata is far from oblivious about general goings-on, of course. And for it to turn out that even Luceti isn't without its special brand of insubordination? Fairly amusing. Seems like you can't escape rebellion anywhere ( Read more... )

As far as I've heard, not much different from winters everywhere. Cold.

Is that so. [ Go figure. ]

I wouldn't have been surprised to hear of a past season of disaster.

Honestly, darling, with all the things that happen here? I shouldn't be surprised to hear that every winter here is the season of discontent.

You make a valid point. I'll be sure to watch for appropriate tales on the matter.

Cold, snowy, um...really cold, actually...you wouldn't want to be outside really long or anything.

Were there many reports of limbs lost to the weather? [ He secretly has a little troll living in the depths of his heart, plus he's actually curious. ]

[Usagi's pretty worried about everything that's been going on, so she's trying to distract herself with the journal.] Pretty cold, some days worse than others. I'd say it's a lot like Japan's weather, honestly. The years before were worse, though, because we didn't have electricity so no real heat to keep us warm.

Occasionally uncomfortable.

I suppose I'm of the variety accustomed to it.

The weather is actually the one almost normal thing about this place!

I suppose that could be considered a blessing.

You're right about that. Some sense of one's home world is a nice change of pace when it comes to this place.

It's a useful tool for adjusting to it as well.

As the others have noted, the winters here are quite normal, depending on where you live.

So it would seem. Would you consider them normal yourself?

I do. The weather patterns here are similar to Japan's.
