Introducing the Puceys
Character name: Adrian Mitchell Pucey

Occupation: He's studying at Cambridge for his PhD in Victorian Literature - he's studying as a muggle and teaching lower level english courses for the University. All of his free time is spent with his mother, Cecilia, and his daughter, Gwenyth (see family information below).
Physical description: Adrian is tall, with dark, thick hair and usually has a stubble. He looks tired a lot of the time, but mostly that's due to his running himself 'round the clock between schooling, teaching, and raising Gwen.
Personality: Adrian is harder working that you would expect of a former Slytherin, at one time he was regal in his superiority but meeting Morgan while on the run during the war (his father was killed by Death Eaters so he got his mum and fled to America with what of the family monies they could), changed him. He's now devoted to his family more than anything, and deeply interested in the meaning and use of words - because of this he ways his own carefully and almost as had the right answer for any situation (unless he's speaking with his mother, who is old Slytherin all over and brilliant and slightly crazy - but she's strict and good with Gwen so she watches the little girl when he's in class). Mostly, his daughter is his life and he's down to earth, worn out most of the time, and charming when he needs to be. There are moments when he holds his chin just right and you can see the Slyth still in him.
Affiliations/memberships: Formerly of Slytherin house, Chaser on the quidditch team from his 3rd year till his NEWTs. Now of Cambridge University's literature dept.
Family: OK here we go...
Father: Ryan Mitchell Pucey - during the war, Ryan Pucey was wanted by the DE's (for his help with potions, he wasn't as good as Snape, but he was very good), when he refused because he didn't want to choose either side (though he did sympathize with the cause of the DEs more than the Order) they killed him. This was a few weeks after the battle at the Ministry (in book 5), he'd just finished his NEWTs. And so, he got what money he could from his mother's vaults - his father's had held most of it and without the proper work done before his father's death the money couldn't be passed on - he took his mother to Boston to get away from the war.
Mother: Cecilia Anne Pucey (formerlly Bliss) - she's a bit batty at this point. When her husband was killed, she had no idea what he'd been up to those days, she blamed herself for not working harder to keep the family safe and with her natural Slytherin tendancies she just never was much the mothering type. Adrian and his father were closer, much more alike. Now she lives off of Adrian's meager earnings and pretends things are the way they once where - she's much better with Gwen than she was with Adrian, and she watches the little girl when he's working.
Wife: Morgan Cynthia Pucey (formerly Sanders), she was a witch studying at Boston College when she met Adrian, who was a year younger than her. She was a sophomore (19 years old) and he was 18 that fall, having just finished his NEWTs at Hogwarts. She'd attended Salem Witchs Institute and joined up a Muggle University to study art history (little did BC know that she was studying for clues to wizarding history, trying to figure out which old artists might have been magic and hiding it). She and Adrian met at a reading on campus and she turned him on to the idea of pursuing a muggle degree, which thanks to a lot of financial aid, he did. He startd at Boston College at age 19 (what would have been the trio's 7th year, so fall of 1997) and graduated spring of 2001. Morgan graduated the year before, and the two were married after he'd finished. Morgan died in childbirth a year later (spring of 2002).
Daughter: Gwenyth Morgan Pucey was born in April of 2002 (she's 5 at the start of game) and at first Adrian could have nothing to do with her, which forced his mother to a bit more mothering than she liked. He was 23, heart broken, and somewhat blamed the little girl, who he only named Gwenyth (which means happiness) because Morgan wanted him to. His mother gave him a serious talking to one day and he began trying harder - babies are hard work - and grew up a lot thanks to her. He moved back to England to persue his degree when his mother promised him to help, Gwen was 3 at the time. Now that she's 5 she's showing signs of magic and it's making Adrian increasingly aware that he needs to get involved with the wizarding world again - this is going to be his struggle.
