There's more than you might think. Battling isn't the only thing there is to do on a battlefield.

No... I don't. I don't want to hurt anyone.

But I don't want to hide while so many people are fighting out there... Even still, I know I'd be a burden, if I didn't avoid fighting.

But... how can you really meditate, know that you'll... have to fight something. Someone? How is it really possible to clear your mind of those thoughts?

It's a weapon. It's ranged, so it'll let you attack someone before they come too close.
