I really liked this review. Having just watched the Time Meddler myself it made it very easy to follow the story with you as I was reading through your comments. I especially liked the commentary about Edith and the rape sequence. I must admit that I always thought that it was odd that she didn't seem at all effected by the experience when the Doctor comes back, but you're probably right about people just having to learn to deal with it in this time period. It seems like she may have been forced to repress it just to get by. I also like your commentary on her. I think that we're really fortunate that Verity Lambert was the first producer for Doctor Who because there are so many strong female characters in the first two seasons and that wouldn't always be the case
