Heee. Sarah and Harry are so much fun to write together - I could have kept them in the past forever, just bouncing off each other and reacting to their situation!

Heh, I'm kinda glad you didn't leave them trapped there - I suspect Sarah Jane might've got a tad homicidal before too long!

Have you seen the Sarah Jane Adventures at all?

Heh, yes, plus they needed to come home for the story plot to work, since the internal character journeys were about Sarah getting her groove back and Liz being brilliant and being slowly sucked back in by UNIT. But it was so much fun to just dump Sarah and Harry in the past with pretty much nothing to do other than talk, I love their relationship. And Sarah is such a pro-active character, I figured putting her in a situation where there was absolutely nothing she could do would give her the push she needed to stop waiting for the Doctor to come back (which she told us she'd done, in School Reunion) and start to get on with her life ( ... )

Someone once said that the Church was the only thing that kept the English rural areas civilised--I can see that in this story! Rather worried about Sarah and Harry.

At least they can take turns cheering each other up...or trying to! :D
