What the shit, y’all. How fucking TYPICAL OF ME is this? So I have a job for two and a half years. Said job gives me full and totally awesome health coverage (which is just about the only thing it gives me, but that’s another story for another day). I have seriously gotten pink eye at least twice since I moved to New Jersey. (the other times were not diagnosed, because I hate the doctor and just reused my prescription)

I tried to blame it on teaching elementary school, but none of the kids seemed to be afflicted. So yeah, right here in the lame section with you when it comes to infectious diseases.

As if there were a non-lame category of diseases...

As infections go, syphilis is pretty badass (it EATS YOUR BRAIN)--but the method of contracting it is pretty damn lame, so...I must agree with you. Dammit. :)

P.S. I also almost had a completely unfounded panic attack the other day when my left arm/armpit was in constant pain resulting in me standing in front of my mirror for an hour checking all over for any sign the old person's disease. Yes, this is unfounded because I'm pretty sure it's damn near impossible to get them on the OTHER side of your body. I think if you do, you die.

Okay, so the only Google results for "bilateral shingles" are roofing companies. I must know: is this true? Because then you would be kind of like a video game character with half her life-bars gone, and it's not that I want you at death's door or anything, but it'd be pretty cool if you made beepy sounds when you moved.
