Also, apparently I'm several sorts of retarded because I've read your other Saiyuki stuff but never made the connection between Saiyuki!you and Jack/Daniel!you. My bad. *hangs head*

This is the first Saiyuki fic I've read in a long time, and I liked it a lot. The subtle ways Hakkai and Sanzo connect with each other from a distance really set the scene (and the snow too, I know winter all too well), and the not-so-subtle parts ("didn't take you for a fag") kept them well within character. ^^

I'm glad you enjoyed it, especially since it's your first in a while; you're making me feel the pressure! ;) I find it really difficult to imagine Sanzo in a believable slash relationship so those subtle (and not-so-subtle) parts are most important. I'm glad it all worked for you.
