Sooner or later, Daniel always figures it out.

And, ow.

I don't think it's so much a matter of figuring it out as not being stubborn. ;) And yes, I'm offering hugs in exchange for the pain.

This was written before the final episodes of Season 10 were out. I think it was written just after 10x11, actually. And yes, this one is sad. *hugs you happy*

That made me go ow :( But boy did it do its job. I went from reading happy/funny stuff to this and it tears at heart a bit.

I love it though. The good, the bad and all the rest. It will be all over if I let myself back into fanfiction. I can't keep up with my regular reading and now I won't want to stop with this.

I will say one thing and that is you are very good at drawing on emotions. (at least mine). I always feel something after reading your writing, and for me that is one of the things I hope for going in.

Now that is a lovely thing to say. Thank you. I'm glad to know that you have some kind of emotional resonance with my work. I can only ever hope that my stuff touches other people as much as it touches me, so it's wonderful to hear when it does.

Now, as for keeping up with fanfiction, I fully admit that it can't be done (especially when you're reading in 4 fandoms, oy). But I try! When I'm too busy, I follow specific authors and I skim fics. If it's a gem, it'll pull me in and I'll read the whole thing. If it's not . . . you can usually tell in the first few paragraphs.
