Heh, I got it as an email. All is well.

I purposely did not read anything by Shackleton or about R.F. Scott before or while I was down there, as I wanted to experience it only through my own eyes. But now I'm anxious to read more, thanks to the book that you gave me (awesome, by the way) and the wealth of stuff out there.

So yes, let's have this as assigned reading and report back to each other.
