This book is entirely, very...French!

So I just spent two hours reading a book cover to cover titled, Talk to the Snail: Ten Commandments For Understanding the French by Stephen Clarke (he's the same author who wrote 1000 Years of Annoying the French). The book is about aspects of French culture told from the point of view of an Englishman living in Paris and runs the gamut from why ( Read more... )

I read the start of that in Foyle's

I absolutely loved the bit where he said the two nations find each other terribly sexy. <£
