WOW. Damn. *still reeling* You totally broke my heart for most of this fic and then put it back together at the end. I love the details you put in and I felt so sad for Jim (I was :'( for most of the story) and then I was :'(( when I got to the Spock part... I'm glad that things worked out at the end and they finally found the acceptance they needed from each other (I was :') at that point). Henry's apology was too little too late, but at least it gave us extra K/S bonding time...

Lovely story, with such emotional depth. I like the fact that they both find completion with each other, not in a facile sort of "tru luv fixes everything" sort of way - but because they worked through challenges together and enabled each other to find their own strengths. Their mutual devotion at the end is very satisfying.
