I got this recipe from the Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners insert. I made it Saturday morning for our every-other-weekend gaming group, and it was enthusiastically devoured.
Sweet & Sour Meatballs - made in a 6 qt oval crock. ( Recipe behind cut )

Is the liner necessary? I haven't seen those locally.

I'm almost definite that you can do the recipe without the liner. It's just to save on clean-up.

No, it just makes clean-up much easier.

My husband was just complaining yesterday that no one made any type of meatballs for the 4th, so I'm gonna use this one for the family reunion, just for him!! Sounds really yummy!
