Cherry/Orange Beef Roast

Cherry/Orange Roast Recipe

  • 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 roast (in this case sirloin tip)
  • 1 c. vegetable broth
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • Dash garlic powder
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 12-16 cherries, pitted and halved.

    How big a roast did you use?

    It was about 2.5 lbs, I don't cook for that many people so we use smaller roasts.
