[mod post] 2011 FRUK OCTOBER LOVEFEST! (outline + PROMPT POSTING POST)

This will work in a similar fashion to last year's December Lovefest with a few differences. Please make sure you read this post! You don't have to be a member to participate! We'd love it if you told your friends and got them involved! :D
HOW IT WORKS
You post prompts, you fill prompts, everyone goes home happy! That is the idea anyway. You will do all your prompts and fills in the comments on this post, making a new thread for each prompt. You do not have to intend to fill any prompts to post ones, it is totally fine. Post as many prompts as you like, fill prompts however you like, NO LIMITS! Well okay there are a few limits, we will get into that.
HOW TO POST PROMPTS
There is no set form to use when posting your prompt. If there is anything you don't want to see in a potential fill e.g. pairings, kinks, etc, please make sure to specify. Long detailed prompts, picture prompts, lyrics prompts, anything you'd like to see a fanwork created from, you can use as a prompt - just be mindful that word prompts may be a little harder for fillers to work with.
You post prompts to THIS ENTRY throughout the entire event. Each prompt should be in a separate post (it does not matter if you make two or more posts in a row).
STOP posting prompts on November 6.
HOW TO POST FILLS
You post a fill as a direct reply to that prompt. For fics, you can post it to your own journal/wherever you posted it and then link it in the comment, or you can post the fic directly into the comment - this is the same for everything else: provide a link to the art/comic/picture/etc or embed it directly into the comment. If a prompt is already filled, you can still fill it again!
Once you have posted your fill, please also copy paste the prompt and provide a link to your fill in THE FILLS LIST, as well as a reminder to start posting your fills). You do not need to put each new fill in a separate post, so you can lump e.g. 5 fills you did and their prompts into one post. You may start creating your fill(s) as soon as you find a prompt(s) you want, but do not post it until October 6 onwards!
STOP posting fills on November 6.
OKAY SO THIS IS JUST A KINK MEME BASICALLY?
Pretty much. Logistically it runs the same as the previous Lovefest, with the exclusion of the point system. There will be a grace period for the first PROMPTS to be posted from October 3 (that's today) to October 6 - this doesn't mean you can't start working on your fills, in fact, the period is there to give fillers a little extra time in the beginning. On October 6, FILLS start to be posted, and new prompts continue to be made until November 6! This is just a fun event, however-
HOWEVER?
There will be a prize of a 6 month livejournal subscription, courtesy of comptine! This would only be available to people who have filled a prompt(s) and it is optional to enter. If you would like to enter, include something along the lines of 'I want to enter the run for the prize' when you post your fill to the fill list (which will be posted on October 6). You only need to state that you want to enter on one of your fills, though all of your fills will count. The only exception is filling your own prompt, those won't count. Of the people who enter, the person with the most fills wins.
IN SUMMARY:
- October 3 - Start posting prompts (please post each new prompt as a separate comment) to THIS POST!
- October 6 - Continue posting prompts and start posting your fills! Please also post a link to your fill in the fills post (also include something like 'I'd like to enter the running for the prize' in the same post IF you would like to enter).
- November 6 - STOP posting prompts and filling! This sadly can't last forever. :(
CAN I DO STUFF BESIDES FIC?
Goodness yes. Art, cosplay, fanmixes, interpretive dance, whatever you like.
IS THERE A MINIMUM QUALITY COMPONENT?
Fills should have SOME effort put into them. Use your judgment. Fic fills should probably be at leat 100 words, art fills shouldn't be scribbled drunkenly on the back of a napkin, that sort of thing. comptine and I reserve the right to exclude fills from the count for consistently shoddy fills (applicable only to people who choose to be in the running for the prize), though I doubt that will be a problem here.
Standard community rules apply throughout the event, of course. Fills should be your own work.
