Crowdsourcing Ur II

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Ur poll. Looks like work with documents in any capacity is the main choice of those polled. After that is helping assign metadata to the documents and/or artifacts (very important since this helps make searches more effective).

I'm trying to get either Scripto or FromThePage running on a server as soon as ( Read more... )

I do best with projects when given a manageable set of pages and a due date. The due date might be completely pulled from thin air by you, but for me it is a way to organize and plan. I don't have a good sense of time, and things could sit for months before I remember I said I'd do them.

Uh-huh. I was going to add something similar. Plus, if you have a scale of how close to completion the whole document is, then there is a sense of achievement that you are contributing to a larger something with your one little bit. "Only 25 more pages to completion, 85% through." ticker tape kind of thing.
