I agree so much on your Blaine analysis. People have made comparisons between Blaine and Rachel before, but I think one of the main differences is that Blaine does genuinely want criticism, and doesn't mind sharing the spot light, but forgot how to ask for it. (Not a knock against Rachel, at all, I just think their core issues are different and just manifest in similar ways

Finally Kurt stopped trying to impress Blaine, being on his best behavior, and that is what gets Blaine to figure everything out. When Kurt started being 100% himself, it was like he finally came into focus for Blaine, and thus he was able to see what had been their all along.
Sing it. Love your whole comment, but I was so thrilled to hear Kurt's "Blaine and the Pips" snark. (One of the things I loved about their argument in BIOTA - they both started to let the illusions go.)
Totally agree with what you're saying about how Kurt challenges Blaine, how he is honest with him and doesn't just fawn over him like the other Warblers -- and that's one of the things that makes him different, makes him special. GREAT. <3.
It was just so sweet and joyus and it sort of felt like all the bullshit I thought was bullshit was actually leading to this great moment. Like, they stumbled and fell and Kurt had to know Blaine wasn't perfect and Blaine had to know that Kurt is always going to be Kurt.
