Central Services gets a new look.

Well then, new variant of Central Services just went up - it's only a shell with a page's worth of content, and I know I'm opening with a page that breaks the bottom of the screen, but if anyone wants to check it out and let me know what they think, that's eventually going to be the front end for book and art sales, as well as consulting, with ( Read more... )

The "central services" text at the top right has a slightly disjoint level of subtlety, not quite sure how to explain it. Not a big deal though. I like the layout, and the graphics.

Not that I promise to take any advice you might be willing to give, but I'd be interested to hear what you'd do to fix it if you were in charge of it. I'm trying not to break up the color too much, or overly attract attention to the text, but if it bothers you somehow, it'll bother other people too.

If you think of an explication, I'd love to hear.

I'd probably try to dropshadow just a tad on the left side of the initial "c". But it really is quite visually appealing as is.
