Chace and Ed met on the set of Gossip girl. They both said that they hit it off a soon as they met, that they have the same sense of humor which is the best base of a life-time friendship. Chace describes Ed as his brother.
Their guy love is so pretty that they rumored to be in love with each other, which is ridiculous. Well I wouldn’t mind it if it was true. But they are obviously “only” very close friends (living together, working together) basically 24/7 together.
