::Grins:: It's alright, I learned that if my "friends" weren't my friends for my mind or because I'm a nice person, or fun to hang out with or talk to, or whatever...and my weight was enough to turn them away...then they're not worth being friends with in the first place. ^_^
god, no kidding.... You're an awesome person, it sucks you ever were told such venomous things. I had a friend in middle school who's step father told her she'd never make friends unless she "put out". I remember her crying a lot that day and trying to console her. People suck, but it's awesome that you rose above it. Screw her, you're bad-ass. <3
Yeah. I was compared to my younger thinner sister a ton. Like, a TON and while I know my folks loved me to death, there was often blatant favoritism between the two of us.
That's alright though, it helped me grow up self sufficient. ^_^ My grandma is pretty crazy, so I discount a lot of what she says anyway.
Wow, never make friends unless she put out? That's...a stretch there. O.o
My grandfather on my father's side used to call me fat, the guy died from lung cancer about a year or so later. I was so pissed at him for saying that given HE was fat, the guy totally let himself go and he had the stones to try and insult me. Nobody in my family thought it was odd he did this, my brothers told me he'd made fun of them too.
