Such A Perfect Day...

So today has been a pretty radical day. Considering no one uses the word radical anymore it makes me feel a little ancient but it's okay. Nonetheless, all is well.

Remember when I said I had mentioned in a previous post that I had some "really great news from someone I really love and it was a great response from an email I sent them a while ago".. ( Read more... )

peter jennings: my journalistic hero, syesha mercado is a style icon, myspace, tracklisting, newsvine! interviews, decisions are mean, high school - who'd want to relive that?, articles, album, newsvine is my place of employment, music heals all, university, david cook = rock legend in the making

OOH, YAY. YOU'RE INTERVIEWING SYESHA, SO AWESOME! \o/

I'm so excited for DC's album, I could flail and fall out of my chair...but I won't. For safety reasons, lmao.

After we showed my mom the tracks, she went and got a can that said Barbasol at the bottom of it. HAHA

Thanks bb! I'm really excited for both the interview and finished product as well as Cookie's album! It's going to be pretty awesome!

Do not at all fall off your chair. I remember a kid who fell of his chair once in school - we don't speak of him anymore. Horrible accident. Blood everywhere.

Hahaha, Barbasol. Classic.

Oh my goodness, when you say really great news, you mean it! That is so incredible that you scored an interview with Syesha! I think that you two share a lot in common with your talent, determination and insight. She'll be a great subject to write about. I'm so glad that things are coming together for you and your career. Hard work pays off!
And you are very welcome. I'm always here for you, Tania! :)

Hahaha, it was really great news huh? I'd been dying to tell someone for the last few days and finally got it out now once I finalized things with her. Syesha will be a pretty great subject to write about! I'm really excited to get cracking on that editorial once I get all her answers down to my zillions of questions, lol.

I'm grateful for a lot that's happened this year and am really content with where I am today as opposed to where I was five years ago. Hard work certainly does pay off and whatever happens, you've always got to push through. No matter what.

Thanks a lot for being there Elizabeth! You're a sweet person and I wish you nothing but much love and success in your endeavours. If you need me, I'm always here for you too!
