I mentioned this back in WHS but for the new folks: if you're switching back and forth between +1 journal, LJ Login is a Firefox add-on/plugin thing that lets you do it with just a click or two, it really helps me when I'm RPing here. Also, does anyone know if you can adjust how long entries stay on your f-list?

So for Catelyn, I think I need to sit down and figure out what the situation is going to be w.r.t. Ned. We're going to get an Ashara now, so Katie, do you still want to proceed with what we talked about before or would you like to stick to that relationship instead? I need to know if I should kill off Brandon or not ;)

Other than that, Cat has had interactions so far with Arya, Theon, Doran, Petyr, Brienne, Renly, and obviously in theory she'll be interacting with the girls of White Harbor Hall. If anyone wants to do/work out/set up anything, I'm low on ideas but high on enthusiasm?

For Rhaegar, well we have a Lyanna now so I'm wondering how the interactions with Arya should shake out. Also, Rhaegar very much is hoping Elia pops up, he's a lonely fellow! Rhaegar also had some neat interactions with Beric and I kinda like the idea of that going somewhere, but I'm not sure what? How involved is Beric going to be with all the underground secret society

BTW I've been meaning to ask, how close are Lyanna and Cat actually? Like, I kinda like the idea of them having gotten closer only *since* she started dating Brandon in high school, not like they were lifelong BFFs because I kinda want them to be, like ... Okay we're not exactly the same "kind" of girl but we learn to appreciate each other? Like if Sansa and Arya were more compatible, lol. I feel like Lyanna's much more invested in being hip/counterculture while Cat, I mean she's open minded and all but fairly mainstream friendly, Lyanna's got more of a chip on her shoulder when it comes to ... boys/gender? while Cat's approach is less overthinking. That's just my read on how you're playing your character so far, obviously.

W.R.T. Rhaegar, yeah I think it'd be neat if Lyanna has time to just observe Rhaegar and Elia for a while, since she has such a crush ;D

yesyesyes I agree! I think Lyanna looks up to Catelyn a lot, like finally a sister or a mom figure who is not 100 years old. Like she maybe thinks Catelyn is more counterculture than she is. She's thinks she's sort of effortlessly cool. Kind of similar to how she feels about Elia. Lol Lya and her girl crushes. I'm trying to decide how she feels about Margaery since I think she might want to major in journalism too. Maybe she finds Margaery a little too peppy?

-I definitely owe Meera some responses, but that kinda fell by the wayside due to holidays/graduation and such. Still I haven't forgotten this. Maybe in the interest of moving the plot/RP ahead we have Doran and Meera meet up again, skyclearblue? Doran + Meera interactions have a lot of potential, so I definitely want to move forwar with this

Yeah I can't see them knowing each other that much. I think in my headcanon I'm going to have Ashara is a dancer/dance major (I remember Elia was into dance when she wasn't sick back at WHS, which is how I have them meeting), and their social circles haven't interacted much.

Last time in like our characters' only conversation me and Summer decided that Cat used to be a dancer and was kiiinda getting back into it, while Elia's kind of always been into it. And this year in my character app/bio thing I'd said that Cat dropped competitive swim to really give the dancing thing another shot, though she probably still swims recreationally. I dunno, should I change that so that they stay apart? Or maybe that'd make things more interesting to give them a new place to interact? 'Cause it's not like Cat has been hardcore about it in years.

Cat will probably really want to lean on Doran after Brandon dies, all her res hall girls are her charges and not really her confidantes, she doesn't have Lysa or Ed around, and Lyanna will be mourning too so while they could commiserate they can't be The Strong One for each other. And I could totally see Petyr having issues with that if that's how Irene wants to play it ...

Beric's love for memes and creepypasta have inspired him to make his own contribution to the Slender Man mythos, for which he will need interested parties to assist! I was thinking of referencing canon by having him bang himself up playing hockey and Thoros fixing it without meaning to. Except unlike canon, the reactions will probably just be "...Huh! Cool."

Rooming with Gatehouse Ami means a lot of sexiling for Missandei, so she'll be wandering around at weird hours of the night and/or in need of a place to sleep on multiple occasions. Other than that, could there be more Bio Lab Fun with Davos and Qyburn? And I liked her chats with Theon and Meera during the party log.

Beric is freakishly easygoing and Missandei is an enthusiastic overachieving frosh, so they're open to conversation from pretty much anyone.

I don't know what Rhaegar would know about the Slender Man mythos, it's probably too pop cultural for him to be aware of, but might he and Beric have some kind of interactions over at the philosophy building? I feel like Rhaegar needs some dudes to talk to and since Jaime's not around ...

Yes! I liked their interactions. They both seem to respond to things in weird ways but for different reasons (Beric is a pro at socializing but sees no point in acting different, whereas Rhaegar seems like he genuinely doesn't quite get it?), which could make for an interesting and sometimes lulzy dynamic.

Rhaegar doesn't get active socializing, no, although he isn't quite a dork because people just always react to him as if he's amazing. Probably it's hard to imagine someone so beautiful as a doofus. He's like, Absent Minded Professor is Absent Minded, under a veneer of Too Cool for School. Rhaegar will get Beric the books he wanted though, because Rhaegar is passionate about academia and Beric is a in scholarly need. I'm also trying to think of a way to get Rhaegar to have connections with the board or something, just so he can be a person of relative power amongst the students, but maybe a fairly inactive wielder of said power. IDK, maybe the board is the wrong tree, but something like that may be useful in the future?

Okey-dokey, let's see. Meera had some fun interactions at the reunion party and is now officially 1) freaked out by Rhaegar, 2) buddy-buddy with Missandei, 3) indulgently tolerant of Theon, and 4) really enthusiastic about hanging out with Doran. All of these are things I'm looking forward to developing, but especially her friendship with Doran, because that will be key to developing the secret society subplot. She's going to avoid telling him about belonging to the Children of the Forest for as long as possible because a) she really believes in what they're doing and b) she doesn't want to disappoint Doran and it's a very weird conflict for her.

As for Davos, I totally intended to get together with Thess and have him and Margaery attend the reunion party, but clearly that never happened. I really want to develop the drama between him and Renly. And how does Robert feel about that whole situation? I can't imagine Davos and Robert getting along very well beyond the fact that Davos is pretty chill and willing to put up with a lot

Oh man sudden idea re; Meera + Doran: Doran's being a totally dork lately and breaking into the library really late at night (insomnia; makes you crazy!) just so he won't annoy his roommate. Maybe Meera could be at the library really late on night too...? It would definite;y give them a reason to talk! XD

Oh, Ned. He hasn't done much yet (though he did finally show up at the party, yay!), but there are lots of cannon relationships to exploit. Robert and Ned should definitely be getting into some sort of shenanigans.

It would also be a good idea to establish Ned's current relationships with Ashara and Catelyn before we kill off Brandon and begin that drama. Steve, how do you view Ned and Ashara's relationship? I kinda see Ned as being excited by her, but maybe not being able to read her moods well? Like, Ned's nice when he knows what's going on, but he expects Ashara to tell him what's going on with her verbally, while Ashara thinks Ned should be able to be a bit more intuitive and dislikes spelling everything out? Also, since Ashara kills herself in the books I always imagined the might have depression? And I don't think Ned would be especially understanding. Like, he'd want to be nice, but he just wouldn't get it. He just pushes forward through everything and so when other people can't, he doesn't get it or give them any slack. What

Yeah they've probably met before around, like, Christmas, but she's a lot tighter with Lyanna and even Ben, among Brandon's siblings. They get along fine, but don't have much occasion to think about each other. Brandon has probably talked about Ned before though, so she might know a few things, and he's probably told Ned about his issues with the Petyr situation, I figure. Cat thinks Ned is nice enough if a little odd/awkward
