Whether the weather be hot

Why is it that, when we have a snowstorm on, say, a Wednesday, for the next month, there will be at least a chance of snow or precipitation on each Wednesday? Sometimes we go through whole seasons where the snow days (or near misses) almost all fall on the same day of the week. Any ideas?

Our weeks are somehow set up in alignment with natural weather rhythms, maybe?
