I spotted this over on FB while posted to a few family members when spotted this: When Beth Posted These Images on Facebook, 103 People Unfriended Her. I know not everyone can handle cancer in any form, but what gets me is people will go ga-ga over pics of oversized, silicone inflated breasts, but let one person post a picture of a breast cancer

Thats because they don't want to see the reality of it and don't want to deal with it. Its a part of life that is unpleasant, but this woman did survive and she is proud she did. She has a lot of guts showing the world. Shame on the people who befriended her for it.

Reminds me of a breast cancer survivor (in the 1980's or 1990's?) who wanted to show what having your breast(s) removed and not replaced looked like. I can't remember if it was a magazine cover (Newsweek? Time?) or billboard inspiring ad. A lot of people protested her doing that.
Imo, some people are just too superficial to see the strength and beauty underneath the skin.
