Happy 100th Charles Addams!

Charles Addams, the lovable yet macabre cartoonist who brought us Morticia, Gomez and the rest of the truly oddball Addams Family, would have been 100 today. I adored his dark cartoons as a child and they can still make me guffaw today. Google even honored his birthday with a doodle .

My favorite is the delivery man with two enormous pet carriers, Morticia answering the door and calling out to Gomez Darling! The children are home from camp!
