Well I dislike poverty blue anything, but I think they simply did not go far enough to make it interesting. So yeah I guess bad taste.

Who jammed a boring clapboard house onto that lovely Mock-Tudor facade? But the color is ALL wrong.

The sides were probably something like a natural or brown stained wood shingle originally. The vinyl clapboard siding is just one more crime against this poor house.
