I liked your takedown of The Visitor. It's a nice film, and "Economic Screenplay" is right on.

Yes. I think The Visitor and In Bruges would head my list of the year's "best". Changeling, Che, The Bank Job, Burn After Reading, Slumdog Millionaire, Pineapple Express, Vicky Christina Barcelona, and Iron Man would be up there, too.

I haven't seen 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days or Synechdoche New York yet, though - and I've heard good things about both.
