Guest Host Tina Fey on SNL's "Weekend Update" last night (as their Women's News Correspondent):

Although I don't own a TV, I do pick up the audio of NBC TV, and I did hear the bit you quoted. I thought the entire news segment last night was fantastic. Unlike the old days, with Dan Ackroyd, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, et al., SNL doesn't hold my attention for the most part, but Chevy Chase seems to have left a legacy of really clever news farce behind, and if I'm up that late, I still love listening to it.

Yeah, Weekend Update and, occasionally the opening sketch have been about the only reason to watch SNL for the past several years - and not reliably. Oh - and TV Funhouse, when it runs. It was good to see a show that looked as though much of it was back on form. A lot of that may have had to do with fey herself. We'll see - but I've kind lost faith in Lorne Michaels.

Heh - yeah, the milkshake sketch was great. Bill Hader's Day-Lewis was spot on.

I thought it was hilarious. In fact I designed a "Bitch is the new Black" shirt.

Enjoy.
