NO CONTENDERS

I just finished watching the most recent Republican Presidential Tap Dance (or whatever these wastes of time are being called) - and much of the follow-up commentary. Why is it so difficult for our political analysts to even recognize truth? There is only one Republican candidate who even seems capable of being honest - and that, of course, is Ron ( Read more... )

Agreed about Mike Gravel. I saw him on, Face the Nation was it?, for a full 15 minutes, and it was the most enlightening interview any candidate has given the entire race. Part of me wishes that he didn't have a look that could be confused with "crazy old man," but most of me wishes the country could see he isn't one.

Yeah. And even Ron Paul is taken a bit more seriously than Gravel - probably because Gravel is considerably more credible.

I'd argue that guard dogs is giving our current media a bit too much credit. I'm afraid the bulk of our political commentators never rise above lap dog status. God forbid another watchdog should ever emerge.
