Don't expect to see any slasher/gore movies here. I hate blood and gore and I really don't like most horror films in general (a few exceptions, of course, that make it worth fast-forwarding through the gross, but they won't be here). My Halloween movie tastes lean more towards family/kids, to be honest, but I wouldn't have it any other way. So here

However, I disagree that Twilight has really changed the idea of vampires for most of us. I've been pleased to see that the normal people look at it with disdain and there's really only a special little group of crazed girls and their mothers acting like it matters anymore at all. I mean, besides the *really* occasional Breaking Dawn trailer, I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

I think you're right about Twilight's influence. It's likely that I'm just bitter they had to get that wrap at all. I mean, I'm all for the reinterpretation of vampires. Heck, I've even been known to write them as sympathetic characters with feelings, I just didn't like the way Stephanie Meyer made it happen. And I guess I appreciate Nosferatu for being the ultimate anti-Meyerpire, you know? lol. I guess I'd just like to see more vampires that are more like him.

Manos is creepy because I think they tried to make it sexy (with all the women in it) and well you know the result. Creepy sums it up well. I love MST by the way, and that episode is one of my favorites. This makes me want to make a list of my top MST episodes. hint... space mutiny is at the top. I love your costumes
This is pretty much my list but I would add some zombie flicks like Return of the Living Dead and Zombieland, as well as, the original Nightmare on ElmStreet. But I can't leave out Army of Darkness.
Good List! I must think of my own.
