Hope your internet is up again. I've just been catching up on your blog. Yes, the Amber series is wonderful. I think Stephanie, David and I read them together or some of them out loud. I was entranced right up to the last one which I found somewhat disappointing, but perhaps just because there are so many. Enjoy! Your volunteer work sounds very interesting.
