Gah. There's so much damn emotion packed into these 200 words. It's about these magically-gifted sisters, of course, but on a deeper level, I think it speaks to any woman who has ever had a sister with whom she's close but had to spend some great distance and time apart. It's very familiar and touching.

Writing it made me take a look at my relationship with my sister from her side of things; that of the nursing student with two kids, as opposed to the art major who works retail.
