In horner of 4 Season beginning I decided to revive the community. BUT I will make some changes in rules. I was thinking a lot about this contest and realized that there are 3 things needed:

- promotion again, lots of promotion! Contest is useless when icon wons the 1st place with 4 votes...
- better quality of participants' icons. I really wanna see

I realize that we've not spoken in a while about the community, as it's been on hiatus since the last season. I'm going to be backing out as co-mod of this community, because I can't accept the rules that you've instituted. This was supposed to be a fun, free-for-all kind of place, not an elitist contest. So, I'm going to be leaving.

Oh, hi! I thought you won't be back because I haven't seen you here for ages. I don't want you to leave! We could write other rules together, I was just trying to do something to make it be not so boring. Look at last challenges: no more than 6-8 participants and all the icons are almost the same. I just don't know what to do with it... I was writing about promotion, begging for more votes but noting really works...

Yeah, I was just waiting for the new season to start, but then of course, I worked the next 3 nights in a row. LoL. I think some of the problem is that the interest in Prison Break is declining. We need promotion, but I really think that the rules as you have them are going to scare a lot of people away. There are people who aren't great at making icons, but they enter for the fun of it. We also have to take into consideration what the voters like. There are a lot of people out there who prefer the more "simple" icons. Maybe we can get more people if we do something like themed challenges? Like one week, it's all about text. Another week, it's do your best crop. Then we have some regular weeks in between so that everyone who wants in gets a chance.

Oh, and sorry for the tone of the last comment. I was just off of work, and cranky 'cause I'd gotten no sleep at all. I usually know better than to make posts when I'm cranky LoL

I really like your idea about themed challenges! I'm gonna delete this angry post :) and we will write the new rules together. Do you have my email?
