Moments of Home

It’s been two and a half months. Two and a half months of home, and there’s no possible way for me to express the weirdness of transition, but you’ve all been there at some point in your life, so I beg your empathy and offer snippets, which, at some point, I’ll flesh out…

4. I was thinking about you and wondering! I had heard that Knowland's were out of power in Maine too and kept seeing things on T.V. Glad to hear that you made it and (I hope it's safe to presume) that the fish did too! *grin*

5. I get that kind of weirdness and unbelievably cool. We had 14 for dinner last night too... I sat at the table with the 'adults' and got to watch the three sibs and the 'extra children' (as I lovingly call my new inlaws and in-law-to-be) interact together at the other one... wow.

Love you! *hug*

(Yes, I know she can read this. I'm not scared. Why would I be scared? :D)

I've been reading your blog on and off throughout your trip. I started crying during your "Goodbye" entry. It will have been a life-changing experience, never forgotten.
I'm glad to hear you are adjusting to life in North America, and more importantly, that your fish are not frozen!
Happy New Year!

Deanna
