"Love's for people who aren't like us," said Bart. "Wrong. I've never been quite good enough and ... I don't know when it happened, but someone broke Tim too. You -- sometimes I want to drag you down to our level, make you just as wrong. Others -- I don't want you to change, ever. You're still so -- naive."
And again, yay. The relationships are what makes this fic for me, so thank you so much for remarking on them. ^_^ Next installment is looking pretty healthy.
I suppose in any victorian era work of fiction, there will inevitably be a doomed romance that ends with someone dying of consumption. It's justone of those things.
And you know, not that I want to push a sequel on you, but does Bart know about the bloodbond? what does it mean?
Also, poor Bart and Tim. They do kind of do it to themselves, because it's not that Kon's never had his heart broken, it's that he doesn't let that stop him breaking it all over again.
Precisely -- so can you blame me for wanting a doomed romance of my very own?
Bart doesn't know. He's completely clueless as to the Vampyre's latest hi-jinks. But the blood bond is similar to the pact's people make with Vampyre's wanting power and eternal life, in return for letting the vampyre feed. Only in this case, neither Tim nor Kon have asked for the advantages -- so the vampyre considers them his, and isn't going to take kindly to either of them getting hurt or pursuing other relationships etc.
Yeah. Silly boys.
I'm going to try to catch you on AIM, if you're amenable -- I have some ideas I'd like to run by you. Let me know when you're about?

Wow in a good way, like I'm speechless and have to go to work in 10 minutes so i can't comment properly.
I'm really enjoying the way you'ved developed Tim and Bart relationship. And the way Kon fits (uncomfortably) into that.
And the Vampyre still has a claim on Kon even if Bart is kinda letting him go, onwards to the next installment.
