Actually... just what the hell *is* a comforter? I see people online use it all the time, but I've never heard it used in real life, and I've always been unsure as to what it exactly *is*.

I think I just expected it to get a mention because it was said earlier on that they'd go shopping, and then make arrangements right after that. But, if they're meeting up in the next chapter, then I guess we can assume that a call was made at some stage. A throwaway line somewhere in this part or the next could help clarify things, but it wouldn't be a great disaster if you left it as is. ;)

I always assumed the comforter was the long skinny circular pillow you sometimes get. It doesn't seem to have any real purpose other than as something you cuddle. Kind of like a grown-ups stuffed toy, or at least, that's my experience.
