Hee! Now it's a toss-up which one I enjoyed more, the Moffat two-parter or your fic! I do like affectionately irritated snarkiness (and you can just hear the actors' voices reading this) Nice stuff!
Should've had the Doctor wonder why she introduced herself if she supposedly knew him. And why she asked him if he didn't like archaeologists. Then later she wonders when it is for him and realizes he doesn't know her yet after mentioning a few times. She's a wee bit slow, I think.
Aww, thank you. And, yes, there's so much more that just doesn't add up, isn't there? Sloppy writing, sloppy characterisation, sloppy character development all round.
Thank you! If only it really was a dream... but at least, knowing Moffat, it'll never be referred to again. Just endless references to the fifty-first century and squareness guns. :P
LOL! While I did enjoy the two-parter, I also enjoyed this little exploration of the flaws and holes that *did* exist in it (hey, I said I thought it was a good story, not that it was utterly *perfect*), and I love the way you worked the characters' voices. Definitely how they'd discuss such an experience! :D
