Something a little different from me - a second-person drabble. But this one insisted on being written that way.

Fic: Before You Came
Author: wmr
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Mickey Smith, Ninth Doctor (sort of)
Summary: You follow, coat flapping at your heels, desperate to catch another glimpse of the unawakened wonder in her eyes.

You're quite welcome!
I was wondering, though-
Do you think I could write a follow-up?
From Rose's point of view? I'll credit you properly and all that great stuff.
But I definitely needed your consent before just hopping to it. :]

I'm not too sure about the idea of a follow-up, mainly because I'm contemplating follow-ups in this universe myself (see down-thread). If you wanted to write something from Rose's POV and mention that it's inspired by this, that'd be absolutely fine and I'd be flattered :)

And you’ll never ask if it’d be better had you never taken her hand.

Because then you went back and took it before you had a chance to take it in the first place....XD Wibbley. Wobbley. Timey....grah!

Oh, Doctor. Have hope for S4. You used to say you quite liked hope. ;)

Well, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. In my mind, it's more a dream, or wish-fulfilment, something he knows he can't do because of the huge paradox it would cause. Though I love the follow-up ameritrifle wrote, so go look at that :)

Foolish Doctor! Don't ever doubt that you're worth the monsters and even the Norwegian beaches.

I love it!
