This ouches in several directions at the same time; I can feel great sympathy for Jackie in this moment at the same time it exposes her tendency toward selfishness - which puts her exactly where the Doctor is in the same moment. True, he's not known Rose as long, but he needs her just as much. And...I'm going to stop there before this gets to be a very long essay.
