Ooh, so excited to see this here! :D

The first part of this story is so well-written and so painful; I kept wincing as James and Robbie couldn't figure out what to say to each other or how to talk their problems through! It was such a relief when they finally discussed it and worked things out.

I really like the idea of them working to train others, too; it seems like something they'd both be good at, and it certainly seems to make their lives easier. Plus, it gets them together, and anything that does that is perfect. :)

I was thinking about you and getting pissed off again that you wouldn’t even talk to me, an’ I trod on Thomas the bloody Tank Engine.”

This made me laugh aloud.

Robbie raises both eyebrows. “A couple?” He gives James one of his Bit slow, aren’t you, sergeant? looks. “Aren’t we?”

I love this line so much. Robbie effectively saying, "Yes, and?" So matter of fact and so very him.

Wonderful story! :D

Delightful! Love the journey from misunderstanding to partnership, and love the thought of them teaching... They'd both be so good, for different reasons

I really liked the beginning with James doing everything he can to help Lewis, who's being unco-operative and grumpy. I liked the rest as well, but the beginning seemed so very true for them.

I love how comfortable and matter-of-fact their getting together is; especially after the painful, pining road Hathaway's on:)

This is very sweet. I liked grouchy!Lewis particularly, and Innocent driving Hathaway to the airport; I can really see her doing that.
