What a lovely, lovely read. Start to finish in one sitting. Words fail me. Just absolutely bloody lovely.

Thank you.

I am very happy to see a long and complex story. Your work is always a treat. I love all the twists and the time you took to get them together. Great details, very engrossing.

You're very kind! I love long, complex stories and wish there were more of them in the fandom *g* So glad you enjoyed this, and thanks for taking the time to say so :)

OMG, I was craving a long, satisfying Lewis/Hathaway story, and you have delivered! Loved the slow build of this, and the way they danced around one another as they grew closer. Lovely. :)

Thank you so very much, both for this comment and the very kind rec on your journal. I love slow-build fics myself - hence my adoration of And We'll Talk in Present Tenses and Virtually Yours, among others - and it was certainly interesting (and fun!) to write a different progression of their relationship in this fic - sex first, romance later *g*

What a lovely, satisfying ending! The fic certainly wound up a long way from where it started (I'd thought the drug kingpin would have come back for revenge or something) but it was very nice all the same. Glad to see Robbie and James where they belong - with each other.

I'm so glad you liked the ending! You know, it never occurred to me that the drug kingpin might come back on the scene, largely because I'm all about the relationship and less about the case. Though he could have come and threatened James, and Robbie would have had to save him again, and they would have realised how they'd felt about each other... but that would have been a different story.

As it is, yes, they belong together :) Thanks for all your kind comments along the way!
