BTW, I love the little detail that the Doctor assumed they were already married. I can just see him: "What do you mean, get married? Aren't we already? House, bed, mother-in-law--we're married. Simple as that. What? We're not? When did that happen? Or not happen?" He is such a clod, but a cute clod.

Rose, of course, is a beautiful bride. It’s not at all her fault that her grooms are peacocks who love to outdo one another and end up almost upstaging her.

This would definitely happen. And Rose would take her revenge in private. :-D
