So I'm trying to ease my way back into DW fandom again and was excited to see you'd recently finished a story... and what a story! I can easily have imagined things having gone this way, and I love the way all three of them learned and grew a bit through adversity. I especially adore how you've written Jack, both in his various assumptions and reactions and in how he handled being blind. And I have to agree with the others who've mentioned this already: the Time War echo was cool! :-D

Yay, happy OT3 ending! I'm amused that Jack's vision ended up fixing itself when he walked into a wall. I blame the TARDIS secretly unleashing a small stash of nanogenes or some other healing mechanism the Doctor either doesn't know about or can't work properly. :)

The Time War echo was definitely neat. I liked that Rose and the Doctor were as blind as Jack regarding the threat.
