Ughh Midnightlair board is closing and I somewhat feel lost. I have looked at LJ's before but decided not to, simply cause will anyone care?. Either way this may be a good way to get stuff off my chest. I feel kinda bad cause I wasn't the most active member on the board, not that im shy but I generally just dont have anything to say, kinda wish I

Hi Dennis, glad you decided to follow the lead and get a LJ, I think it will really work to keep in touch with most people and about who cares about your vidding, well duh! I do! And alot of other people, plus there are some vidder communities on LJ where you can post your vids and recieve feedback. It isn't the Lair, but hey, you can still post you vid info at midnight_love_ and about html, it isn't so hard to learn, really, I mean, when I am able to maintain a page, everybody can!

Yea ignore my vidding comment I tend to be a bit dramatic, and another alternative to html would be yousendit also google may have a video upload thing going, but im not sure on there stand towards fanvids*crosses fingers*. But I should just bite down and learn html since having my own site would be more personal touch.

It's easier, when someone sets up a basic site for you and you just have to add your content, maybe one of the pros from ML is up for a challenge. I also found one html-book very helpful I bought back then, I still relay on it sometime, it explains the basics and you start to understand the language HTML. And there are also many good programs and sites out there, which explain things, you could take a look at Charmax credit page, I think she linked several sites with this topic.

I would definately care if you didn't vid anymore. You'll have to post your new vid on Midnight Love when you get it done :D As for html Astarte right, you should check out Charmax resources page - some of those sites are where I first learnt :) Oh and welcome to LJ :D
