Ah, I'm quite impressed by that. I do like curlews so much, although stone curlews are such funny looking beggars.

Well, it was hardly a bird, but a tenant in the house I inherited from my grandfather found a raccoon sleeping under the bonnet of her car.

We live in a highly-urbanized region. Even for a suburb, that was ... unusual. Ferrets, yes. Raccoons? Not so much!

(And for the record, the best I can find in front of my nearest Lidl is a free parking space close to the entry/exit ...)
