All I can recall off the top of my head is a financial panic in America, their Fair in Chicago, works by Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and Edward German, Yorkshire's winning the County Championship after some years of Surrey's ascendancy, and England under WG Grace winning the Ashes at Home. In ascending order of importance, I might add. What had you in mind?
